What is E.C.H.O Evoking Change Hands-On, LLC?

E.C.H.O was born in 2013 and officially established in 2021. E.C.H.O was developed based on the need to help individuals reconnect with mind, body, and soul under the group leadership of Licensed Mental Health Clinicians. E.C.H.O promotes interactive seminars, workshops and/or retreats to all individuals who are able to program. E.C.H.O focuses solely on group collaboration, open communication, non-judgmental discussions, and shared experiences.

Different Shades of Healing

With understanding the hardship that our nation faced in 2020, our purpose is to bridge the gap between the mind, body, and soul helping others to rebuild and restore the connection lost within self. The idea of connecting with the mind, body, and soul has for many years been proven to be an essential way of understanding balance within self. Whether you are struggling with finding peace, rebuilding your self-image, improving finances, finding the courage to heal, or simply adjusting to what was lost in 2020, this 2-night retreat is designed to challenge intrusive thoughts as well as assist in exploring new/alternative coping skills to improve your current situation and under the guidance of Licensed Behavioral Health Clinicians gain insight on ways to improve homeostasis.

Mind, body, and soul retreats are no longer targeted to just the rich and famous or persons needing detox, but rather anyone who’s in need of balance. Health and wellness retreats are designed to enhance what we know and introduce what we’re missing as it relates to self. If you are looking to redecorate your current lifestyle through educational seminars and shared experiences with other like-minded women then this “Pop-Up” retreat is for you. Again, this 2-night, 3-day weekend retreat will fill your space with daily yoga and meditation, aqua zumba, psycho-educational groups, wellness seminars, expressive arts/poetry and delicious cuisines. And, at an additional cost, to add to your weekend experience full body spa treatments are available. With that being said, I invite you and your friends to join me and my friends as we embark on a journey of healing and rediscovery of self

The Pressure to Heal

Have you ever felt as though you had to become better or move in the direction that others may want you to? If so, the Pressure to Heal group may best fit your needs. Oftentimes, we find ourselves in a position where we are “forced to heal” in efforts to meet the needs of others. We venture into a world that we are just not ready for. We challenge ourselves to do better and want better, but simply, we are stuck in extrinsic motivation and offer short-term healing. When we begin to heal for ourselves, our healing then becomes intrinsic motivation, motivation that is solely based on our own wants and needs. In doing so, our healing becomes innate and we begin to marry our progress; thus, fostering improved feelings of self and overall happiness.

Artistic and Creative Healing

Healing is creative, healing is art, healing is colorful and healing is dark. Allow this group to challenge your inner creativity as you embark on new ways to reach homeostasis. Allow your creative healing to enter a space of pure talent and bliss, akin to your childhood memories that were filled with colors of the rainbow and the sweet smell of summer. Creative healing looks to aid in expressing hidden traumas that overshadows the ability to connect with self. Join this group and relearn how to allow colors of life to heal the lost you.

Financial Healing

I see it, I buy it. I save it, I spend it. I charge it, but I fail to pay it back. Are you tired of robbing Peter to pay Paul? Allow this group to provide insight on ways to regain financial stability by utilizing a growth mind-set. Under the leadership of a Financial Advisor, one will be provided detailed steps to motivate and improve financial wealth and stability.

Self-Care

Many people think that self-care solely relies on hair, make-up, style, shoes, etc. But contrary to popular belief, self-care can be as simple as the joy you wake up with, the smile you wear in the mirror, daily affirmations and/or the love you show yourself throughout the day. Self-care is a field in which many struggle to balance daily duties that often leave no room for self. Our days become impacted by the needs and wants of others, landing us in a field of the “forgotten self.” Codependency is the correct name. The explicit intention for self-care is to leave individuals with a well-developed plan for putting themselves first, while incorporating alternative self-regulation skills to promote healthy living.

The Courage to Heal

She stood up to trauma when she was younger and felt as though she had all the answers. Oftentimes feeling as though her feelings were normal and no one understood what she went through. She began to replace the feelings of pain with maladaptive coping skills (substance abuse, promiscuous behaviors, self-harm, looting and/or binge eating). Now in her adult years, an internal war has begun and she feels powerless over the ability to find a healthy solution. As previously mentioned, trauma rains heavily on one’s psyche preventing them from soaring over life’s obstacles. Is this person you? If so, allow this group to encourage and empower the present “you” that is tormented by your inner child, impeding the ability to heal. The courage to heal is fostered by an individual’s readiness to change, moving from pre-contemplation to contemplation stage of change. The courage to heal mirrors a different look and path for each person. Your shade of healing must be determined by you and your willingness to color your life a different shade…welcome to the world of healing.

Healing out Loud

Scream out loud, scream so loud that you ring the ears of your ancestors. Scream into a thin layer of air that welcomes the vibrations of pain, frustration, isolation, depression, fear, and/or disappointment. Let “your” freedom ring. Let go of deepened hurt that has offset your road to recovery. Release the feeling that daunts you daily. Scream away the harrowing visions of past behaviors that haunt your success. Scream until you feel relief. Healing out loud looks different for many people. In other words, courage is what we’re all searching for. Healing out loud is the courage to share our story in an unbiased atmosphere that strives to uplift melancholy feelings and enhance long-term growth. Join me as we scream away our pain, healing begins now.

Medication and Healing

When my sugar is too high, I take Humalog. When my head hurts, I take Tylenol, and when my body aches, I take Ibuprofen. When my mind is fluttered with depressive thoughts, I tell myself, I am okay. When my anxiety heightens and I lose the ability to make sound decisions, I tell myself I’m okay. When I am hearing voices, I tell myself to hide in my own shadows, meeting darkness with open arms. When struggling with mental health and/or medical concerns, most individuals seek medication management. However, there are many people that will attempt to “fix” or “manage” the issue on their own. The impact of medication and healing has been proven to decrease or eliminate symptoms of a presenting concern, preventing the problem from exacerbating. In the world of behavioral health, we call that secondary prevention. Allow this group to uplift and encourage one to share concerns with medication management as well as articulate fears, concerns and stigmas associated with long-term medication usage. Medication and healing does not offer diagnosing, medical advice and/or promote the beginning or discontinuance of any medications or medical treatment.

Body and Healing

“Yoga, what? I’m not into that. I’m actually too big and too out of shape to move like other women. Yoga can’t help my depression anyway.” YOU ARE WRONG. Studies have shown that yoga can have positive benefits for people with several types of mental health conditions, including depression, ADHD, anxiety, schizophrenia and PTSD. In addition to improving your mental health, some studies also suggest that practicing yoga may reduce inflammation as well improve heart health. Learning how to relax and release stress helps the body in ways unimaginable and, as the mind heals the body heals. Engaging in daily and/or weekly yoga allows you to focus on various body movements, decreasing stress markers and increasing endorphins. Yoga is designed to restore balance within the mind, body and soul, creating a sense of stillness and solace…welcome to yoga, body and healing.

Michelle Robinson-Julye, BSN RN-BC

Michelle, a single mother of four knew at an early age that she would render her services to helping those in need. Michelle experienced mental illness in her early childhood as her paternal grandmother was deemed mentally ill. As a “natural helper” Michelle found herself taking on the role of a caregiver assuring her grandmother was provided accurate care. While in college, Michelle volunteered her time at the Basic Adult academy where she aided pregnant teens and incarcerated youths to study and pass their GED. Michelle began her career in behavioral health as a BHT/CNA. She received her LPN and immediately started working in corrections, continuing her work with the mentally ill. As years passed, Michelle decided to further her education obtaining a Bachelors in Nursing with an emphasis in Behavioral Health. After years of schooling it didn’t take Michelle long to figure out that behavioral health is where her passion lies. Michelle to many has been known as a selfless helper and has continuously shown dedication and loyalty in the helping field. With any position held Michelle finds herself climbing the “ladder of leadership” fostering the most effective care for those in need. In addition to the helping field, Michelle is a trained CPR and CPI Instructor and has played an instrumental role in a newly assigned behavioral health program located in South Phoenix. As Michelle continues to render her services she lives by the quote “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
